Wotton Bassett and District Cats Protection is a long-established Cats Protection branch, set up in 1988.

It is now relaunching after the difficult period of the pandemic. It has a fresh, aspirational board bringing together existing and new volunteer post holders from the local area.

This recruitment is part of that process and will play a significant role in helping the branch achieve the Cats Protection vision to create a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.

Like many Cats Protection branches, volunteers work together from their own homes, having regular team and board get togethers to support each other in getting the jobs done.

The supporting cat ownership volunteer is a new role for the organisation and offers the opportunity to join and have an input into a friendly team helping people make the right decisions about cat welfare.

Interviews are planned for 7th December and successful candidates will be notified if they will be Teams on line or face to face.
