Could you contribute to the continued Success of a small housing association focusing on Cirencester Town and the surrounding rural communities?
We have an exciting opportunity for two new non-executive board members and an Audit committee member, who have the skills and experience to contribute to the future success of an Association that has been in existence since 1949 providing high quality, social and affordable housing.
As a non-executive board and committee member you will need to demonstrate a passion for the social purpose of a small housing association, as well as a commitment to be responsible for the governance of the Association.
As Board Member your experience will include some or all of the following key areas:
- Lived experience similar to that of the Housing Association’s customers
- Strong connection & commitment to the local community in Cirencester
- Asset management, particularly on regeneration & sustainability
The annual commitment is 6 evening board meetings a year and a half-day or full-day focusing on strategy discussions.
As an Audit Committee Member you will ideally have some or all of the following experience:
- Health & safety experience
- GDPR / IT security experience
- Risk management or audit experience
The annual commitment is 4 audit meetings a year and volunteering to performing at least one desktop audit of internal controls and processes.
