We are looking for a creative, reliable and understanding volunteer to assist with a group of 6 older individuals with learning disabilities, living in a 24 hour residential care setting in Waltham Forest.

We can be flexible with timings, however the prospective volunteer will ideally be available during the day, for a minimum of 2 hours per week.

The individual will both lead and take part in one to one and group activities.

This is an opportunity for someone who has a passion and an interest in supporting elderly individuals with a learning disability to have a varied and active timetable alongside their support and care.

The volunteer will receive substantial induction and mandatory training to prepare them for the role, alongside supervision throughout their placement. Reimbursement of travel expenses and lunch (if volunteering for over 5 hours) will be provided.
