About Us

Aspyre Africa is a UK registered charity dedicated to young people (often too old to benefit from existing programmes), and that is able to link up beneficiaries, NGOs, training providers and businesses in a meaningful and sustainable way.  Aspyre Africa offers solid experience in the child rights sector, a thorough understanding of the local reality in Senegal, a wide network of trusted partners and contacts, and a direct connection to those young people in need of support.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and a strategic thinker to join our team as our Programmes Researcher.  You are naturally inquisitive and love investigating. You are able translating knowledge into accessible non-jargon filled formats for a wide audience. Most importantly, you are able to translate information clearly and concisely.

About the Role

  • Researching Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks
  • Staying up to date with the academic knowledge in line with Aspyre Africa’s work
  • Generating reports on the work being done in similar areas  
  • Find and compile information on relevant events for Aspyre Africa to attend and network
  • Research of  NGO’s with similar programmes
  • Research existing toolkits
  • Research Potential Programme partners in Senegal
  • Ability to  work independently

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good research skills
  • Report writing
  • Office Suite proficiency
  • Must have access to academic journal databases

Desirable

 

                Able to translate content from English to French

3-10 hours/ week may increase depending on specific project demands
