RNIB Resource Worker Assistant - Bishopbriggs
Are you interested in building self-confidence in people with sight loss and learning difficulties by giving them the chance to develop independent living skills and gain new experiences? We need someone to provide sighted guiding and support and help us with general tasks and group activities.
A PVG Scotland Adults Criminal Record Check required.
What Will You Be Doing?
Provide sighted guiding; Listen to Talk and Support group talks; Create a friendly welcome; Help set up and run activities
Providing support on a one to one basis during various activities, such as; art and crafts, baking, music and interactive story telling.
When will you be needed?
Four hours per week, flexible.
Springfield Day and Assessment Services, Bishopbriggs.
