Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC) is a successful, popular, unique parenting approach . EPEC is for local parents, led by local parents. As an EPEC Parent Group Leader, you'll receive amazing free training to equip you with the skills and knowledge to lead a practical, caring group for local parents with support from a co-trainer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your experience of being a parent to make a real difference to other families in your community.  You'll use tried and tested methods to give children the best start in life whilst developing your skills and confidence in leading groups.

We'll offer free childcare for children up to the age of 5 to enable you to attend the training and you'll be provided with on-going support from our local EPEC team.

You'll need recent experience of parenting or caring for a child/children aged 2-4 years and you must be living in Havering.

We'll need you to attend a 10 week training programme that will take place every Tuesday from 10am - 2pm from 19th June - 17th July then from 4th September until 2nd October.
