You will be the first point of contact for all people who either visit or telephone the DIB.
The Receptionist will:Have responsibility for the reception area, keeping this area tidy, Handle any enquiries that the DIB receive via the telephone or in person in a polite, welcoming and professional manner and fill in a relevant enquiry form, Answer the telephone, passing calls through to staff or taking messages
• Welcome visitors, informing staff that they have arrived or finding someone to help them, making tea and coffee
• Carry out basic administrative tasks including dealing with post and using the Google calendar
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as instructed in induction, in particular Health & Safety and Safeguarding
You will have a polite and friendly manner and enjoy working with people. You will be comfortable using the telephone and will have some basic IT and administration skills. You will be happy working both as part of a team and individually.
