Everyone needs a regular space they feel welcome and cared for especially on Sundays when it can feel especially lonely if you don't have a traditional family support network to belong to. This is a new project which will provide a lovingly cooked meal (preferably a Sunday Roast - if we can get the ingredients donated) great company and a bit of TLC for those who need it. Most importantly it will be a fun space for young people (age 16-28) who grew up in children's homes or foster care to get together and feel part of something in the local community .
We are looking for people who have any of the following
* Fun/Positive people
*Great cooks
*Caring individuals who have time to listen and help young people problem solve if needed
*People who are passionate about everyone feeling part of the local community
*People who want to be part of a project that can only come to life with the kindness and goodwill of local people
*People who will also help us raise the funds we need or the donations of food needed to cook a Sunday Roast
We believe that everyone should feel valued by their local community especially when they have had a traumatic or tragic start to life.
There are lots of ways you can help us so please get in touch if you can support us with any of the above
