We are looking for an experienced website designer volunteer who wants to contribute to a great purpose by helping us create a user friendly, easy to navigate platform for FreeHelpie. We need an experienced, forward–thinking and creative digital designer to help us create our site identity, new website design, widgets, mobile experience and landing pages. 

This role would suit an experienced designer who is keen to be part of something greater and would like to become part of the team of our volunteers on an ongoing basis.

Or

A web designer who is currently in between work and would like to work with us on a one off basis – around 8-10 days (maybe less depending on experience).

You will need to use your own computer and software while working with us. We are based in London but you can be based anywhere. 

Ideally what would be useful for you to have:

- Commercial experience in Web, App or Widget Design
- Experience in either an in-house design or agency environment 
- Experience with Digital Design (Web and/or mobile projects) 
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- An eye for modern and emerging design 
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript 

We are based in London however you can work from home.

Free Helpie is a network of people who are helping each other entirely for free. This is through sharing their expertise, mentoring, coaching, giving a hand or helping in any means available to them. It is a grassroot movement of members who are helping and receiving help for free and through this contribute to each other. What are they looking for? We are looking for an autonomous creative, entrepreneurial person with a positive can do attitude who can work independently. 

What we are looking for:

• Responding to a brief with creative and imaginative ideas, then communicating those in a flowing, joined-up presentation

 

Practical Considerations This is a work from home opportunity, you must have your own relevant IT equipment
