Fundraising Volunteer - Men United Match Days 2018
Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Your support will help us deliver our ambitious strategy of taming prostate cancer in 10 years and improve the services we offer men and their families.
Our Men United Match Days programme is a unique opportunity to reach our target audience and raise vital funds through our partnership with the English Football League (EFL). In your role as a fundraising volunteer you will be responsible for collecting donations and handing out our information leaflets to fans before the match at an EFL club.
You will receive a full briefing for your specific match in the weeks leading up to the day itself. Post-match there are limited free tickets for fundraising volunteers, first come first served basis.

What do I do?
- Arrive on time on match day to meet with the Lead Volunteer for the briefing and receive the materials required for my role
- Follow the Lead Volunteer and Assistant Lead Volunteer’s instructions on where to go, what to do and how to stay safe
- Greet match guests enthusiastically, ask for donations politely and distribute information leaflets
- Give all materials back to my Lead Volunteer and collect my complimentary match tickets after the collection has finished.
The match days will run in two batches: the first will take place in October 2017, and the second between February and May 2018.
