Our ultimate aim at a Kith & Kids’ club is that everybody has lots of fun in an environment in which our members feel safe and relaxed and are able to fully express themselves. We aim that our members receive 2:1 volunteer support. This helps ensure that the sessions have lots of energy and enthusiasm. It also gives new volunteers a chance to learn further support tips from experienced volunteers.

Our weekend clubs allow our members to develop key skills and relationships in a fun, friendly and safe setting that is individually centred to their needs. Workshops include music therapy, drama, arts & crafts, sports & games and much more. We even enjoy trips out! Recently groups have attended swimming, museums, crazy golf and bowling.

Weekend Clubs take place every two weeks, alternating on Saturday/Sunday afternoons from 12.30 to 5pm during school term-times.

Our volunteers play a hugely vital role in supporting our members to develop social skills that can be transferred to their day-to-day lives!

To take part in Kith & Kids Weekend Clubs then please join us for our training sessions. On these sessions you will enjoy a number of training workshops including autism awareness, epilepsy awareness, communication and breaking down skills.

(You must come to at least two sessions)

Please choose two of these three dates:
Saturday 23rd September, 10.00am to 12.30pm
or
Sunday 8th October, 10.00am to 12.30pm
or
Saturday 21st October, 10.00am to 12.30pm

All training sessions take place at Ermine Road Day Centre, N15 6DB - this is a short, 5 minute walk from Seven Sisters Underground station (Victoria Line).
We'll also run a free DBS check prior to you volunteering with Kith & Kids.
