Green-fingered people needed to help maintain the lovely Thames Hospice gardens!

The gardens at Pine Lodge are a great space for patients, their loved ones, staff and volunteers alike to relax and enjoy the fresh air. With hidden alcoves, open grass areas and pretty plant borders the garden is a multi-use space important to the welfare of all at the Hospice. We are looking for help to maintain these gardens as we head towards the summer months to keep them looking their best.

Purpose of role
To assists in the maintenance of the garden and courtyards within the Thames Hospice

Main tasks
• Trimming shrubs and bushes
• Sweeping paths and walkways and removing leaves
• Weeding and tidying borders, flowerbeds and tubs
• Report any hazards regarding tools or maintenance problems to the Support Services Manager

Currently you will need to be aged over 18 years to volunteer in this role.
