The UK Department of Education states that; 61% of UK students qualifying for free school meals received a grade D or worse in their Maths and/or English GCSE.
Infinitum Academy is on a mission to remove educational inequality from the face of the earth. We are a community based social enterprise that has big dreams of making quality education globally accessible to all and not just to the limited few.
Will you join us to help make an impact?
We are looking for people to volunteer as either GCSE Maths or English tutors to work with ambitious young people from disadvantaged backgrounds from one of our partner secondary schools across the U.K Our programmes start running towards the beginning of each school term and you’ll be able to pick a time that is right for you. Training and specialist resources will also be provided.
The programme is entirely free-of-cost to the school with all costs being covered through grants, local business sponsorships and donations. Our ultimate vision is to empower schools and give every pupil access to one-to-one support and we will be working to make this dream a reality over the coming year.
Our tutors find online tutoring enjoyable, impactful and convenient for the following reasons:
