We are seeking a Regional Organiser (RO) who will use people management, organisation, and negotiation skills to help facilitate short cultural exchange visits between UK residents and international students studying at UK universities.

HOST promotes international friendship and cultural exchange by arranging for adult international students studying in the UK to spend a day, a weekend, or a few days at Christmas in the homes of volunteers around the UK.

"Am I just very lucky or are all international Students delightful? Our Chinese student was wonderful company and joined in everything with great enthusiasm!" For families who volunteer with HOST, the answer is usually that the students are delightful. Our RO manages the process which results in such happy feedback. The RO matches students and hosts based on given criteria and administrates the placement process. Each one of our team of volunteer ROs manages an area of the UK.

Volunteers must live in the West Midlands or Warwickshire.

Skills/Qualifications:
A friendly telephone manner and an interest in people are essential. Internet access at home and basic computer literacy access are useful. A full day's induction is given by HOST staff. The role also includes recruiting new hosts and some publicity; however this varies depending on time available.

Age/Gender Restrictions: 18+
